Smith claims 6th Sigel championship
ORWIGSBURG — Nathan Smith of Allison Park has won his sixth career R. Jay Sigel Match Play Championship, defeating Max Siegfried 3&2 in the finals at Schuykill Country Club.
Smith, 39, hit 14 of 16 greens and eight of 11 fairways.
He has played in four Masters tournaments during his career and joins Arold Cutrell (2005-06) as the only golfers to win The Sigel in consecutive years.
