These defendants were sentenced Wednesday in Butler County Judge William Shaffer’s courtroom:

Nathan J. Graf, 33, of Pittsburgh, was sentenced to 30 months of county probation on charges of felony trespass, misdemeanor retail theft and identity theft. He was also ordered to pay court costs and $540,54 in restitution.

Graf pleaded guilty on June 4.

He was initially charged with two counts each of felony criminal trespassing, misdemeanor retail theft, misdemeanor identity theft, possession of drug paraphernalia and one count of receiving stolen property. The remaining charges were dismissed as part of the plea.

Cranberry Township police filed the charges after incidents at Costco on June 30, 2017, and July 31 where police said Graf used a backpack to steal a total of 14 toner cartridges on those days.

In the July incident he was apprehended by store security.

A search of his person allegedly yielded two hypodermic needles and a Costco membership card belonging to another man, police said.

Vincent B. Corrie Jr., 23, of McKees Rocks, Allegheny County, was sentenced to 15 months of county probation and ordered to pay court costs and $300 restitution on a felony charge of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

He was initially charged with felony possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance.

Corrie was initially sentenced to two years in the county Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program in September 2016, but was removed from the program in March for a new driving under intoxication arrest.

He pleaded guilty on June 5.

Corrie was charged by the Butler County Drug Task Force after selling one ounce of marijuana for $300 to a police informant Oct. 22, 2014, in the parking lot of a Cranberry Township shopping plaza, documents said.

Adam D. Fox, 19, of Freeport, Armstrong County, was sentenced to one year of county probation and ordered to continue in drug treatment on charges of misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was initially charged with two counts of felony possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, two misdemeanor counts of drug possession and the paraphernalia charge after a traffic stop Sept. 16 near Delwood Road, Butler Township.

Fox pleaded guilty on June 5.

Butler Township police filed the charges after Fox, a passenger in a car that was pulled over, was found in possession of 11 marijuana-laced brownies, two Ziploc bags of marijuana, another bag of marijuana seed, two marijuana grinders and a smoking pipe.

Fox apologized during the proceeding, saying he had learned a lesson from the incident, said counseling has been beneficial to him and “it will never happen again.”

Roger M. Dugan III, 26, of Butler, was sentenced to pay court costs and a $300 fine on a summary disorderly conduct charge.

He was initially charged with misdemeanor resisting arrest, and the summary charge to which he pleaded was later added. He pleaded guilty on June 5.

Butler police filed the charges after Dugan hit an officer in connection with a call for a domestic dispute at his home in the 300 block of Howard Street on Dec. 14.

Dugan was gone when police got to his home. But moments later, according to court documents, he was spotted at East Walnut and Elm streets. Police said he swore at officers and took an “aggressive stance” before an officer grabbed his right arm and told him to stop. Dugan, in turn, placed his hands on the officer and pushed and hit the officer in the nose with his arm.

While being placed in handcuffs, Dugan continued to resist police.

Dugan apologized, saying he made a mistake and “will never do it again.”
