CRANBERRY TWP —A two vehicle accident backed up traffic on Freedom Road in the township around lunchtime on Friday.

At least one motorist reported minor injuries but everyone involved refused medical transport, according to emergency responders.

Police said one driver was headed east on Freedom Road and ran a light before colliding with the second vehicle shortly before noon. It was not immediately know if charges were to be filed in connection with the crash.
