Missing teens found

The Buffalo Township police department has confirmed that the two children who went missing, Adam Harris, 14, and Ella Eyler, 12, were located early Friday evening.

BUFFALO TWP. — The two juveniles from Buffalo Township who were last seen Thursday evening have been found and they are OK.

The Buffalo Township police department has confirmed that the two children who went missing, Adam Harris, 14, and Ella Eyler, 12, were located early Friday evening.

The two children were found in a wooded area behind Lilac Lane, the road on which Ella Eyler lives.

The children are back home and safe.

Earlier on Friday Buffalo Township Police Chief Tim Derringer said Adam went missing from a residence on Bear Creek Road, while Ella went missing from a home on Lilac Lane.

Derringer said the two youths had last been seen by their parents Thursday evening, and left their respective homes after family members went to sleep.

He said it was believed that the two met sometime overnight at an unknown location, and hadn’t been seen until they exited the woods behind Lilac Lane on Friday.

Derringer said the youths had no means of communication with them when they left.

Search and Rescue, fire and police agencies went out in the township attempting to locate the youths.
