Jennings Environmental Education Center, Route 528, Brady Township, will be the site of “Fireflies!” at 8:30 p.m. July 14 and Celebrate the Bloom! on July 28.

Moraine State Park, Muddy Creek Township will be the site of“Moraine at 50” at 7 p.m. Thursday at Pavilion 7, McDanel’s, North Shore. “Mud Day Celebration” will be from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at Lakeview Beach, North Shore.

McConnells Mill State Park in Slippery Rock Township, just over the county line into Lawrence County off Route 422, will have the gristmill open Tuesdays through Sundays until Labor Day from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Interpretive Tours are offered at 1 and 2 p.m. and by appointment. Admission, parking and tours are free.
