Runners make their way up Main Street during a previous year's Butler Road Race.

The 43rd annual Butler Road Race will take place at 9 a.m. Saturday, beginning in front of the Butler County Courthouse.

For the first time, the race is being organized and run by the Butler YMCA.

The BRR's tradition of offering a 2K and 5-mile race will continue this year. Proceeds will benefit the YMCA's Annual Support Campaign.

Wednesday is the final day for runners to register on-line. Registrations will again be accepted the day of the race.

Registration and packet pick-up will be available beginning at 7:30 a.m. Saturday at Diamond Park.

Packet pick-up will also be available from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Butler YMCA.
