BUFFALO TWP — Jared Miley passed points leader Michael Norris with two laps remaining to win the Late Model feature Friday night at Lernerville Speedway.

The win gives Miley a berth in the June 23 Firecracker 100 at Lernerville.

A.J. Flick picked up his third Sprint feature win of the season, beating Brent Matus and Jack Sodeman Jr. to the cherckered flag. Rex King Jr. won his second successive Modified feature, beating out Brian Swartzlander and John Mollick.

Corey McPherson won his second Pure Stock feature of the season, coming in ahead of Tyler Dietz and Joey Zambotti.

[naviga:h3]Pirates, Swaggerty agree on contract[/naviga:h3]

PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Pirates signed first-round draft choice Travis Swaggerty Friday. He will report to the Class A West Virginia Black Bears.

Swaggerty, 20, a South Alabama University outfielder, hit .296 with 13 homers and 38 RBI in ciollege ball this season.

He agreed to a $4.4 million signing bonus.
