We were friends since childhood years growing up wild without a care,

Each milestone we

anticipated and shared,

Driver’s license and turning twenty-one,

The years filled with

friendship and fun,

As adults our friendship stayed true,

Knowing I could always rely on you,

A man who would do

anything for friends or family in need,

A kind heart not always recognized for your

charitable deeds,

Tomorrow you would have been sixty,

A day I thought we would share too,

But your celebration will be in heaven,

With angels loved ones and friends gone too soon.
