Three people were taken to the hospital with injuries after a midday traffic accident on South Benbrook Road, Center Township.

A red Ford Taurus that was speeding and driving on the wrong side of the road struck a white Toyota RAV 4 just after noon Saturday, according to the Pennsylvania State Police. One person from the Ford Taurus and two people from the Toyota RAV 4 were taken to the hospital by Butler Ambulance Service.

No names of the drivers have been released and the accident remains under investigation. The Unionville Volunteer Fire Department assisted on the scene.
