Meet Ace and Emerson, the pets of the month for May at the Butler County Humane Society.

Ace is a six-year-old Silver Retriever/Labrador/Weimaraner mix. He is a sweet and playful dog who loves his toys to no end. Ace is looking for a forever home filled with much love and devotion. Ace can be nervous with new people and environments and kindly requests a dedicated and patient family with kids over the age of 15.

This sweet and endearing eight-year-old cat yearns for nothing more than a dedicated and loving family to call his own. Emerson is an older and calmer lad who is friendly and laid back, not to mention quite charming. His handsome stature and kind nature is sure to catch your eye and melt your heart. Emerson would make the perfect companion for a family who could shower him with lots of love and cuddles. He would be best suited in a tranquil and relaxing home. Emerson would not mind having other feline companions as he enjoys spending time with his fellow mates.
