D10 baseball playoff pairings released

The Slippery Rock and Grove City High School baseball teams will be in postseason action late this week and next week.

Slippery Rock will travel to General McLane for a 3A first-round game at 4 p.m. Friday.

Grove City will play the winner of the Fort LeBoeuf-Oil City game at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Slippery Rock University.

ERIE — Seneca Valley graduate and Penn State Behrend senior pitcher Alex Hajduk has been named second team All-Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference this season.

Hajduk was 8-1 for the Lions with a 3.69 earned run average, striking out 67 and walking 11 in 68.1 innings pitched.
