Maridon Museum, 322 N. McKean St., concludes a festival of films from India with “Charulata” at 6 p.m. Thursday. Admission is free, but reservations are required by calling 724-282-0123. Regular gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays, except holidays. Museum admission is $4 for adults, $3 for senior citizens and students, and free for children younger than 8 accompanied by an adult. Harmony Museum, 218 Mercer St., Harmony, has tours that include the 1809 main museum building and wine cellar and a neighboring early 19th century house, both built by the communal Harmony Society, and a Mennonite log house, offered from 1 to 4 p.m. daily, except when the museum is closed Mondays and major holidays. Admission is $7 for adults, $6 for senior citizens age 60 and older, and $3 for youths ages 6 to 17. Call 724-452-7341.

PITTSBURGH

Children’s Museum, 10 Children’s Way, Allegheny Square, opens “Thomas & Friends: Explore the Rails” on Saturday. “The Pigeon Comes to Pittsburgh: A Mo Willems Exhibit” continues through Sept. 2. The museum will be closed May 28 for Memorial Day. Regular museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, except holidays. National Aviary, 700 Arch St., features a Web cam at http://aviary.org/condor-nest-cam for the Andean condor chick expected to hatch soon. The aviary is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aviary admission is $15 for adults and $14 for senior citizens age 60 and older and children ages 2 to 12. Some activities cost extra. Carnegie Science Center on the North Side hosts SkyWatch at 8 and 10 p.m. Saturday in the Buhl Planetarium and Observatory. Tickets are $4. Science center hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some movies and shows are later. Admission is $18.95 for adults and $11.95 for children ages 3 to 12; films are extra.
