A Butler man involved in a parking lot fight that left one man stabbed was placed into the county Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program in court on Friday.
Justin D. Woods, 21, was ordered to complete 3 years of probation as part of the program on charges of felony aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person by Butler County President Judge Thomas Doerr.
Woods was charged by Butler Township police after an incident outside of Walmart, 400 Butler Commons, Butler Township, just after midnight on April 28. 2017.
Police said Woods stabbed another person, Alex Dorenkamp, of Chicora, during a fight in the parking lot.
Dorenkamp needed hospital treatment for a knife wound to the stomach, authorities said. Woods suffered minor injuries to the head, face and arms.
Woods was later released after posting $5,000 bail.
