Nagy, Jewart combine for 1-hitter, 8-2 victory

Chance Nagy and Jake Jewart combined on a one-hitter Friday as Moniteau's baseball team rolled to an 8-2 victory over Keystone.

Jewart struck out 10 in five innings whle Nagy fanned five in two frames.

Jewart homered in the game as well. Wyatt Geibel tripled and doubled for the Warriors. Jared Lominski tripled, singled and had two RBI, Tyler McFadden tripled and singled, Nick Sosigian doubled and singled.

Softball

Faith Hansotte hit a grand slam and Ali Graham struck out seven batters as Butler's softball team clobbered Penn Hills, 10-0 in five innings on Friday.

Graham added a pair of singles and, along with Shannon Ferguson, drove in two runs for the Golden Tornado (6-10).

Girls Lacrosse

Kate Quinlan scored a pair of goals, but Butler fell to Pine-Richland, 18-3.

Eliza Drohan added a goal for the Golden Tornado.
