Priority2Work slates dinner, cracker plant discussion

The proposed ethane cracker plan in Beaver County will be the topic of discussion at a dinner next month.

Priority2Work will host a discussion titled “How the Cracker Plant Will Transform our Region” at its annual dinner May 22 at North Way Christian Community Church in Wexford.

Featured speakers include John Goberish, dean of workforce and continuing education at Community College of Beaver County, and Michael Marr of Shell Pennsylvania Chemical.

The discussion will look at how the proposed plant will impact the community and what economic impact the downstream jobs may have.

The public, including job seekers, is invited to join for networking, dinner and speakers. Networking starts at 5:30 p.m., with dinner and presentations beginning at 6:15 p.m. A donation of $10 is requested for those seeking employment and $20 for all others.
