PROSPECT — A murder mystery dinner May 12 at the Atrium will benefit the Butler County Leadership ’18 Project-Garden of Hope at the Inn.

The show “Robin Hood ain’t lookin’ so good” will start at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with dinner beginning at 6 p.m. at the Atrium, 1031 new Castle Road.

CRANBERRY TWP — Cynthia Wylie, Butler County native and co-author of “Bloomers Island: The Great Garden Party,” will be appearing at 11 a.m. Saturday at Barnes & Noble.

The book, which was recently published by Rodale Kids, a division of Penguin and Random House Books, promotes gardening, eating vegetables and a healthy lifestyle.

It is targeted to children younger than 10, and is being distributed nationwide.

Musical Theatre Guild of Butler is staging “First Date” through Sunday at the William A. Lehnerd Performance Hall at the back of Memorial Park.

Curtain is at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 3 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $17 at www.mtgbutler.org

[naviga:h3]‘Harvey’ runs at BC3[/naviga:h3]

BUTLER TWP — Butler County Community College’s Pioneer Players will open the comedy-drama “Harvey” on Thursday at the Succop Theater on campus.

The Pulitzer Prize-winning 1944 play, one immortalized by Jimmy Stewart in the 1950 film of the same name, goes on at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday and at 2 p.m. Saturday.

Tickets cost $5 for students and $8 for general admission, and are available by calling the Succop Theater box office at 724-284-8505 or by visiting www.bc3.edu/succop-theater.

[naviga:h3]‘Pattern Glass’ program today[/naviga:h3]

Ellen King presents “Early American Pattern Glass” at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Maridon Museum, 322 N. McKean St.

The program in the Collectors series will feature patterns from the Victorian period.

Admission is free, but reservations are required because of the limited space. Call 724-282-0123.
