SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University baseball pitcher Chris Anastas and softball infielder Kailey Myers have received PSAC West honors this week.

Anastas was named Pitcher of the Week after tossing a two-hit 2-0 shutout at Indiana (Pa.). He struck out nine.

Myers was named Softball Athlete of the Week after hitting .429 (9 for 21) with four homers, seven RBI and seven runs scored. The Rock went 5-1 in those games.
