Well mostly that is true

I never wanted memories

I only wanted you.

A million times I needed you

A million times I’ve cried

A million times I’ve watched for you starring at the sky.

If love alone could have saved you I wouldn’t be alone.

In life I loved you so dearly

In death I love you still.

In my heart you hold a place that no one will ever fill.

If tears could build a stairway and heartache make a lane,

I’d walk that path to bring you back again.

Our time on earth has ended and nothing seems the same

Rest assured when God calls me home our love will live again.
