Boben 70th anniversary
Harry and Helen Boben of Butler are celebrating 70 years of marriage.
Boben married the former Helen E. DeCorte April 24, 1948, at St. Eusebius Roman Catholic Church in East Brady.
They have three children, Harry (Mary Lou) Boben of Butler, Paula (Tom) Horne of North Augusta, S.C., and Joe (Anne) Boben of Butler.
They also have six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Boben is a retired bricklayer superintendent.
He is a member of VFW and the American Legion.
He enjoys fishing, hunting and visiting casinos. He is a fan of the Pirates, Steelers and Penguins.Mrs. Boben retired from Butler Memorial Hospital as a registered nurse.She is a member of the Mercy Hospital Alumni and enjoys reading.The Bobens are members of St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church where Mrs. Boben is a member of the Ladies Guild.
