DiFiore to receive Mazzoni Award
CRANBERRY TWP — The board of trustees of the Cranberry Public Library will honor Patricia “Pat” DiFiore as the 2018 Cranberry Library Mazzoni Spirit of Giving Award recipient at a reception from 7 to 8:30 p.m. May 1 at the library, 2525 Rochester Road.
DiFiore became a library volunteer in the 1980s and a staff member in 1993. She was the adult services librarian for 21 years before her retirement in 2014.
She has been active with the Friends of the Cranberry Library and continues to volunteer weekly.
The award acknowledges individuals or groups who serve the library with their generous support, creative vision, unselfish dedication, ambassadorship, inspiration and community leadership.
