Maridon Museum, 322 N. McKean St., concludes an exhibit, sponsored by the Kai family of Pittsburgh, on Saturday. A festival of films from India begins at 6 p.m. Friday with “English Vinglish.” Admission is free, but reservations are required by calling 724-282-0123.

Senator Walter Lowrie House Museum, 123 W. Diamond St., part of the Butler County Historical Society, is open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays. Call 724-283-8116 or visit www.butlerhistory.com.

Harmony Museum, 218 Mercer St., Harmony, has tours that include the 1809 main museum building and wine cellar and a neighboring early 19th century house, both built by the communal Harmony Society, and a Mennonite log house, offered from 1 to 4 p.m. daily, except when the museum is closed Mondays and major holidays. Admission is $7 for adults, $6 for senior citizens age 60 and older, and $3 for youths ages 6 to 17. Call 724-452-7341.

PITTSBURGH

Fort Pitt Museum in Point State Park, part of the Smithsonian-affiliated Senator John Heinz History Center museum system, will host its second Dunmore’s War Seminar at 10 a.m. Saturday, to highlight the historical significance of the Point as America was formed. Register online in advance at www.heinzhistorycenter.org/events.

Pittsburgh Daffodil Show will be from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 28 at the Shady Side Academy Senior School Ice Rink, 423 Fox Chapel Road. Admission is free to the event presented by the Daffodil and Hosta Society of Western Pennsylvania. The annual Hosta Show will be June 2 in Wexford.

Children’s Museum, 10 Children’s Way, Allegheny Square, is hosting “The Pigeon Comes to Pittsburgh through Sept. 2. Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, except holidays.
