Pennington keys KC win

Gremlin girls runner claims 4 victories

Rebecca Pennington contributed to four wins to lead Karns City's girls track and field squad to a 125-20 victory over Union on Wednesday.

The senior won the 800, 1,600 and 3,200 runs and was on the winning 4x800 relay team.

KC's boys also defeated Union by a score of 109-35, with Mason Nolan taking first place in the shot put and discus.

Nolan Cumberland won the high jump and pole vault for Union.

Ethan McDeavitt won the 300-meter hurdles, long jump and triple jump Wednesday as Moniteau's boys stayed unbeaten (5-0) with a 94-55 victory over Clarion-Limestone.

On the girls side, Kendall Grossman and Cambrie Campbell both won three events in an 89-61 Warrior triumph.
