Cypher, Sponaugle

Grady and Kristin Sponaugle

Kristin Cypher and Maj. Grady Sponaugle, both of Clovis, N.M., were united in marriage Aug. 11 at North Main Street Church of God in Butler. The Rev. Denny Krajacic officiated. A reception followed at the Butler Country Club.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. Ronald and Debra Cypher of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Rick and Teresa Sponaugle of Greeley, Colo.

The honor attendant was Heather Peterson. Bridesmaids included Emily Smith, Katharine McCarthy and Kaylynn Lion.

The flower girls were Julia and Jenna Peterson.

Performing the duties of best man was Spencer Reed. Ushers included Jonathan Appleby, Alex Biegalski and Ryan Cortner.

The bride is a 2007 graduate of Butler High School. She received a master’s degree from Duquesne University in 2011.

She is a physician assistant contractor for the U.S. Air Force in Clovis.

The bridegroom graduated from Colorado Heritage Education School System in 2004. He graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy with a degree in systems engineering in 2008.

Maj. Sponaugle is a pilot for the U.S. Air Force in Clovis.

Following a honeymoon trip to Mauritius Island, the couple is making their home in Clovis.
