Woman airlifted to a Pittsburgh hospital
A woman was airlifted by medical helicopter to a Pittsburgh hospital Monday evening, after a one-vehicle crash on Neupert Road in Jefferson Township.
State police say the woman, who was not immediately identified, was traveling west on the road at about 5:20 p.m. when her white sedan went off the road and hit a tree head-on.
There was no immediate information on the nature of the woman's injuries or the cause of the crash.
