11:29 p.m. Friday — A 17-year-old East Brady girl was cited for careless driving after an accident on Route 268 in Cowansville, Armstrong County. The girl, who was driving a Honda Civic, hit a utility pole, the sign in front of Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home and a metal post before coming to a stop. She was taken to Allegheny County Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

9:16 p.m. Friday — No one was injured in an accident involving a minivan and a deer on Route 28 in Buffalo Township. Police said a Chrysler Pacifica driven by Nicole F. Hilton Dopson, 28, of Kittanning hit a deer while going northbound past the Freeport exit. The van came to rest in the median of the highway.
