RIBERA, N.M. — The sprawling cattle ranch in northern New Mexico owned by controversial former radio host Don Imus is for sale.

It was reported real estate agent Craig Huitfeldt confirmed last week that the ranch is on the market.

The 2,400-acre ranch near the small community of Ribera, N.M., and about 45 miles east of Santa Fe has been used to benefit children afflicted by cancer.

It is listed at $19.9 million after Bell Tower Keller Williams Realty originally listed it as $35 million.

Imus and his wife founded the ranch in 1998. It has hosted children for nine-day visits during summer months.

The shock jock was fired from his radio show in 2007 after using a racial slur to refer to the Rutgers women's basketball team.

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — About 300 people turned out in Bakersfield, Calif., to celebrate the naming of a post office for Merle Haggard in his hometown.

The late country music legend's sister and widow were among those at a Friday ceremony near downtown honoring Haggard, who helped create the twangy “Bakersfield Sound.”

The event fell on the two-year anniversary of Haggard's death — and what would have been his 81st birthday.

Haggard rose from poverty and prison to international fame through his songs about outlaws, underdogs and an abiding sense of national pride. His hits include “Okie From Muskogee” and “Sing Me Back Home.”

LOS ANGELES — Arnold Schwarzenegger left a Los Angeles hospital Friday after a heart procedure, his spokesman said.

The spokesman, Daniel Ketchell, said in an email that the 70-year-old “Terminator” actor and former California governor is “home and doing incredibly well.”

Schwarzenegger underwent a scheduled procedure March 29. A pulmonic valve originally installed in 1997 for a congenital heart defect had to be replaced. He's been tweeting from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for several days, including this April 9:

“It's true: I'm back! I went to sleep expecting to wake up with a small incision and woke up with a big one — but guess what? I woke up, and that's something to be thankful for.”
