Route 38 down to 1 lane in April
CENTER TWP — Traffic will be reduced to a single lane beginning early next month on a stretch of Route 38 just south of Hoon Road.
The state Department of Transportation announced Thursday that Beech Construction crews will replace the bridge spanning the Connoquenessing Creek.
A temporary traffic signal will allow alternating traffic to pass the site as work continues on the yearlong project.
PennDOT spokeswoman Deborah Casadei cautions motorists to slow down and be prepared to stop on Route 38 near the project site.
