EVANS CITY — A spring book sale to benefit the Evans City Public Library will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Ritzert Hall, 426 E. Main St.

The library also is accepting book donations.

Vendor show aids cheer camp

The Butler Arrows Vendor Event will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Lake Arthur Country Club, 255 Isle Road.

In addition to vendors, there will be an auction and concessions.

Proceeds benefit the Butler Arrow Division 3 fund for an August cheer camp at Slippery Rock University.

BUFFALO TWP — The Sarver Chapter of Women’s Business Network will have a spring social from 6 to 7:30 p.m. April 5 at Cellar Works Brewing, 110 S. Pike Road.

Women entrepreneurs and professionals may attend this complimentary happy hour to learn more about the chapter and its commitment to the success of their businesses and the success of others within the largest women’s networking organization in southwestern Pennsylvania.

[naviga:h3]Christian school hosts open house[/naviga:h3]

PORTERSVILLE — Portersville Christian School will have an information night and open house at 7 p.m. April 3 for families interested in enrolling students for the 2018-2019 school year.

The school is accepting student applications and registration. In addition to kindergarten, there are openings in most grade levels for fall 2018.

Portersville Christian School provides a Christian education to students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12.

[naviga:h3]Americana expert will be at library[/naviga:h3]

CRANBERRY TWP — The Cranberry Public Library, 2525 Rochester Road, in conjunction with the Cranberry Township Historical Society, hosts “Marketing the Presidency” presented by Steve Mihaly at 6:30 p.m. April 3.

Mihaly, a collector of political Americana, will show items from his collection that demonstrate the unusual ways presidential candidates marketed themselves for elections.
