Weather pushes back Semifinal games for local basketball teams
Expected inclimate weather has caused PIAA officials to postpone several semifinal games in the state high school basketball championship for both boys and girls, which were originally scheduled for today.
The changes, announced late Tuesday morning, are:
The Mars Area High School girls varsity team will now play at 5 p.m. Thursday, at Bald Eagle Area School in Wingate, Pa. The team will face the John Carroll Patriots.
The Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic girls varsity team will now play at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, at Bald Eagle High School. The team will face the Berks Catholic High School.
The Pine-Richland High School boys varsity team will now play at 6 p.m. Thursday, at Chambersburg High School. The team will face Roman Catholic High School.
