12:27 a.m. Saturday — Police have obtained an arrest warrant for a Center Township man accused of punching a 35-year-old woman in the face.

Roger W. Anthony, 46, is wanted on simple assault charges after the alleged assault in a house on South Benbrook Road.

10:22 p.m. Wednesday — Anthony Rufo, 18, of Butler was placed under arrest for driving under the influence of a controlled substance after being pulled over by police on Reibold Road in Forward Township.

07:15 a.m. March 8 — Police say a Slippery Rock man was speeding, which caused an accident on Route 488 in Perry Township, Lawrence County.

John R. Schlafhauser, 35, was cited for speeding after he allegedly lost control of his vehicle while driving west and hit an eastbound vehicle driven by Shanna D. Glover, 37, of Beaver Falls. Neither driver was injured.
