Butler High School bowlers Ashley McCue and Mercedes Belch placed 19th and 21st, respectively, in the Pa. Girls Singles Bowling Championships Friday at Princess Lanes in Pittsburgh.

McCue’s six-game total was 1,047, including games of 225 and 222. Belch rolled a 1,045 with a high game of 200.

Emily Garl of Governor Mifflin won the girls singles championship. Kolby Bennett of Cedar Crest won the boys crown.

The team championships are Saturday at Princess Lanes.
