CHICORA — Chicora United Methodist Church, 201 Central Ave., will host a show and sale of locally made crafts, baked goods and more from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., March 24.

Hot sausage sandwiches and homemade cookies will be on the lunchtime menu.

BRADY TWP — Jennings Environmental Education Center, 2951 Prospect Road, will offer the following events:

10 to 11:30 a.m. March 30, Springtime Stroll — Jennings’ staff will lead an informal, family-friendly exploration to experience seasonal wonders.

2 to 4 p.m. April 8, Nature Detectives: Invaders of the Lost Park — Families will be nature detectives and collect clues to determine the plants and animals taking over the park.

9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 21, Take Back the Woods: Battling Invasive Species — To celebrate Earth Day, volunteers will help weed out invasive plants at the center. A catered lunch at the end of the work session will feature some of the plants. Each volunteer will receive a native plant to take home.

Participants must be age 12 or older and ready to work outdoors, rain or shine. Registration is required in advance. To register, visit events.dcnr.pa.gov or call 724-794-6011.
