Local communities will hold egg hunts this month. The following egg hunts are scheduled:

10 a.m. to noon March 24, Valencia Presbyterian Church, 80 Sterrett St., Valencia, rain or shine. The egg hunt is free for children up to age 10 and will include prizes, games, crafts and snacks. 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 24, Community Life Church, 1104 Pittsburgh Pike Road. The “Eggaventure” will be outside and indoors and include interactive science activities, face painting, a photo booth with the Easter Bunny, prizes and giveaways. Space is limited. 1 to 3 p.m. March 24, Intersection Community Church, 120 Walker Ave. The event is for children up to age 12.

9:30 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. March 25, Butler Campus of Allison Park Church, 150 Legion Memorial Lane, Lyndora. Willy’s Wacky Egg Hunt is free for children preschool through fifth grade. During this indoor chocolate factory-themed event, children can search for a golden ticket and win prizes.

10 to 11 a.m. March 31, First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown, 5825 Heckert Road, Bakerstown. This free event for children from age 2 to grade 4 will include an Easter skit, songs and prizes. Register by March 26. Take a basket. For more information, call the church office at 724-443-1555.

11 a.m. March 31, Freeport Community Park, Community Park Road, Freeport. The Freeport Area Kiwanis Club and the Easter Bunny will host the egg hunt for children up to age 10. Hunt areas will be divided by age groups.
