Set on the luxury liner, the SS American, “Anything Goes” is the age-old tale of boy meets girl.

It's New York City circa 1933 as glamorous passengers eagerly board the ship bound for England.

The cast of characters includes Reno Sweeny, evangelist-turned-nightclub singer; Reno's friend, Billy Crocker; debutante, Hope Harcoart; and the wealthy Lord Evelyn Oakleigh.

Billy stows away on the ship to be near his love, Hope, even though she is now engaged to Lord Oakleigh. Joining this love triangle is Moonface Martin (aka Public Enemy No. 13) and his sidekick, Bonnie.

With the help of some elaborate disguises, tap-dancing passengers and crew, and some good-old fashioned blackmail, Reno and Martin join forces to help Billy in his quest to win Hope's heart and stop her impending wedding.

Considered to be one of Cole Porter's most magical scores, “Anything Goes” produced the memorable tunes of “It's DeLovely,” “You're the Top,” “Friendship” and “Anything Goes.”
