Friday — Brianne L. Ray, 38, of Oakland Township was charged with being more than 3½ times the legal limit for alcohol stemming from an erratic driver call last month in Oakland Township.

Police said they got the call about 4 p.m. Feb. 14 for the driver of a sport utility vehicle “all over” Thorn Run Road. The caller subsequently reported the vehicle had turned into a driveway on Center Road in the township.

The driveway turned out to be Ray’s home, according to court documents. She was unable to complete field sobriety tests due to her condition and was taken for a breath test, but the machine was unable to provide readings of samples.

Ray was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital. Toxicology results showed her blood-alcohol level was found to be 0.30 percent, documents said. In Pennsylvania, a level of 0.08 percent is considered intoxicated.

She is charged with driving under the influence, disregarding traffic lanes, careless driving, failing to notify authorities of a change of name or new address, and not wearing a seat belt.
