2:08 a.m. Friday — Andrea S. Seeker, 20, of Allegheny Township was arrested after she allegedly assaulted her former boyfriend, a Butler man, at a home on Bredin Street.

Police said they were initially called to the area of West Penn and Broad streets for a reported assault. They found Seeker, who claimed she was the victim.

She also told police that she was 15 weeks’ pregnant, according to court documents, and she requested medical assistance. She was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital.

Officers later went to the home on Bredin Street and spoke to the man, who recounted getting into an argument with Seeker. He said she threw a marijuana grinder at him but missed. She also allegedly punched and scratched him.

Two people who live at the house witnessed the altercation, documents said, and corroborated his account.

Officers again spoke to Seeker at the hospital, where she admitted the marijuana grinder was hers.

She was arraigned on charges of simple assault and possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia She was release on her own recognizance following arraignment.

Feb. 23 — An Allegheny County man was charged with drugged driving stemming from a December traffic stop on Kiester Road. Police said they pulled over Hayden M. Bell, 20, of Carnegie about 3 a.m. Dec. 3 for having a burned out license plate light.

Bell admitted that he had smoked marijuana the previous evening, according to court documents. He failed a field sobriety test and was taken to Grove City Medical Center for a blood test.

Toxicology results subsequently confirmed the presence of marijuana in his system, documents said.

Bell is charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance and a lighting violation.

Feb. 21 — Police charged a Mercer County man with drugged driving in connection with a traffic stop earlier this year on North Main Street near Boller Drive.

James L. Bish, 32, of Mercer, was stopped shortly after 12:40 a.m. Jan. 28 for driving without his lights on, court documents said. He allegedly acknowledged having smoked marijuana a “little bit ago.”

Police took him to Grove City Medical Center for a blood test. Toxicology results were not indicated in charging documents.

Bish is charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, disorderly conduct and a lighting violation.

Feb. 16 — Jahote C. Dorsey Jr., 23, of Butler was charged with driving on drugs after a traffic stop in Slippery Rock Township.

Police said they stopped Dorsey’s car about 2:30 a.m. Feb. 3 when it swerved on Route 173, and police noticed the car’s passenger side brake light also was not working.
