South Butler School District teachers said late Thursday they will go on strike March 15 – unless a contract is settled by then.

The South Butler County Education Association announced Thursday that they gave the administration official notice that they will go on strike at the beginning of the work day Thursday, March 15 if a new contract is not reached by then.

The teachers have been working without a contract since 2014.
