FAIRVIEW Twp. — An 18-year-old Cowansville man has been arrested on a charge of threatening to blow up Karns City High School.

Garrett Michael DeBacco was charged Friday with threats to use weapons of mass destruction after a bomb threat was found Tuesday written inside a bathroom at Karns City High School, state police with the Butler Barracks said in a news release.

DeBacco was arraigned Friday before District Justrice Lewis Stoughton in Chicora. He was placed in Butler County Prison on $50,000 bond.
