[naviga:h3]‘Daniel Rocket’ next BLT show[/naviga:h3]

Butler Little Theatre’s 77th season will continue with “The Rise and Rise of Daniel Rocket,” from March 9 to 17 at the theater, One Howard St.

Curtain is at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, 2:30 p.m. Sundays, and 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays.

[naviga:h3]Maridon opens new exhibit[/naviga:h3]

The Maridon Museum has opened a temporary exhibit to help celebrate Chinese New Year.

The exhibit, sponsored by the Kai family of Pittsburgh, will remain on display through April 23.

Kwun Kwong Kai and his daughter, Sherry, recently delivered items for the Maridon’s New Year exhibit.

Some of the collection pieces include:

Guanyin Riding on Cloud Dragon

Zisha Ware Tea Pot or “purple sand/clay” Stoneware Tea Pot

Paper cutting of the Yellow Crane Tower, a famous structure located on Snake Hill in Wuhan, Hubei Province.

The museum is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays.

[naviga:h3]Students part of ‘Winter’s Tale’[/naviga:h3]

GREENSBURG — Butler County students are part of Seton Hill University’s presentation of “The Winter’s Tale” running Friday through March 3 in the William Granger Ryan Theatre, Performing Arts Center, 100 Harrison Ave.

The cast includes Julia Stypula of Mars. The crew includes Ashley Blazczak of Saxonburg.
