Donna and Robert Shipe

Robert and Donna Shipe of Saxonburg will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a family dinner at Hotel Saxonburg in Saxonburg.

Shipe married the former Donna Muntz Feb. 17, 1968, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Mars.

They have two children, Diane Miles of Gettysburg and Jenny Hartzell of Butler.

They also have five grandchildren.

Shipe was a steel worker and retired from Armco in Butler.

Mrs. Shipe is a homemaker.

The Shipes are members of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Saxonburg. They enjoy reading and jigsaw puzzles.

The Shipes in 1968
