Speed, slick roads cause morning wreck
Slick road conditions and speed were believed to have caused a driver to lose control of his car about 8 a.m. and crash into a utility pole on Center Avenue in Butler.
The man, whose name was not immediately available, was not hurt and the pole did not appear to be damaged.
The man was traveling northwest down the hill on Center Avenue when he wrecked.
A coating of snow made the road slippery for motorists. While Butler police were investigating the crash, the driver of a pickup momentarily lost control of his truck and skidded off the road.
