There will be a rabies clinic from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Alameda Park office, 184 Alameda Park Road. Microchip services also will be available.

The clinic is co-sponsored by the Butler County Humane Society and the Butler County Parks and Recreation Department. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the humane society.

Feb. 5 is the deadline to confirm an entry dish for the Super Bacon Bowl from 1 to 3 p.m. Feb. 10 at Whitestown Road Baptist Church, 409 Whitestown Road.Entrants must use bacon as the first or second ingredient of the dish and provide enough for at least 30 people to sample.To enter, call Glenda Coughenour at 724-822-5089 or email glennygig@email.com.
