I don’t want a border wall. I think President Trump lied from the beginning when he insisted that Mexico would pay for the wall. I think he said it just to get votes, just like he said he had “top secret” plans to defeat ISIS in 30 days. What thinking human being would believe such blatant attempts to curry votes?

Now, some of his followers still want the wall. I would ask them, who is going to pay for this wall? I also wonder, do you plan to erect a wall that will cover all 1,900 miles of the border, or just select spots? Have you even decided on which wall model you’re going to use out of all the prototypes offered?

Trump’s time in office has been tumultuous, to say the least. His Cabinet firings and resignations are unprecedented among prior presidents, and this helps him make enemies among his own people. This, and the fact that he presently holds a 39 percent approval rating should be enough to guarantee he’s not going to get his precious wall.

This president’s word is not to be trusted. I know that, as most of the country does. He makes promises he can’t possibly keep, then blames everyone else for his failure. The wall won’t get built because no one seems interested in following anyone so unstable. If the Republicans want their wall so badly, have them start a GoFundMe account and let his supporters put their money where their mouth is.
