Butler County's great daily newspaper

Neighborly way

Kudos to Travis Frenchak, owner of The Hoagie Shop in Bon Aire and Pointe Plaza shopping centers. Kudos for stepping up and helping out an organization that provides a vital service to the residents of Butler County.

When a water pipe burst at the Meals on Wheels headquarters, it stopped production of meals until Jan. 8. Thus they couldn’t provide the food that many in the county need and rely on.

This was not done by a big retail restaurant chain. This was accomplished because of the generosity of a local business owner.

I have no affiliation with The Hoagie Shop. I don’t even know Travis Frenchak, but I believe when someone actually steps up to help those in need, people should recognize him and his effort.

If you know him, thank him, if you don’t, patronize his business. That’s the best thanks he could receive.
