Manke paces Yellowjackets

Senior scores 26 points, adds 13 rebounds in Freeport win

Jenna Manke had a monster game with 26 points and 13 rebounds as the Freeport girls basketball team outlasted Kiski 43-33.

Samantha Clark added 13 points for the Yellowjackets, who overcame a 13-3 first-quarter deficit.

Hanna Potter led Kiski with nine points.

Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic 76, Knoch 29 — Kylee Lewandowski scored 16 points — all in the first half — and was 4 of 5 from 3-point range as the Trojanettes rolled past Knoch.

Tess Myers added 14 points, Dani Short 12 and Cassie Foster 11 for the Trojanettes.

Emily Fraser led Knoch with eight points.
