Virginia Winters

Virginia Winters of Butler will celebrate her 87th birthday this week.

The former Virginia Kriley was born Jan. 18, 1931, in Butler. She married the late Richard Winters.

She has eight children, Paul Winters, Tom Winters, Kenny Winters, Bill Winters, Sandy Norris, Judy Zarnick, Kathy Masartis and Mary Etzel, all of Butler.

She also has 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Winters still quilts and, as recently as 2017, won first prize at the Butler Farm Show.
