The Alliance for Nonprofit Resources will host “Keeping Your Nonprofit on Track” from 8:45 to 11:45 a.m. Jan. 31 at the Butler Public Library, 218 N. McKean St.

This practical, hands-on program will provide focused attention on essential compliance issues for nonprofits.

The presenter will be Tish Morgan, standards for excellence director at the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations.

Seniors for Safe Driving will host the following classes for those age 55 and older:

10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 5, Butler YMCA, 339 N. Washington St.

1 to 5 p.m. Feb. 6 and 7, Meridian Presbyterian Church, 4150 N Highland Ave.

5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Feb. 13, Kelly Chevrolet, 252 Pittsburgh Road, Butler

noon to 4 p.m. Feb. 20, Butler Senior Center, 10 Austin Ave., Lyndora

9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 22, Paramount Senior Living, 500 Seven Fields Blvd., Mars

9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 26, Passavant Retirement Community, 401 S. Main St., Zelienople

9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 28, The Lowrie Place, 100 Stirling Village Drive

Seniors completing the course will receive a 5 percent reduction in their automobile insurance premiums for three years.

[naviga:h3]Preschool opens fall registration[/naviga:h3]

JACKSON TWP — Seneca Valley Preschool is open for 2018-19 registration.

This program is part of the Seneca Valley Senior High child development curriculum. Monitored and guided by the teaching staff, high school students study the growth and development of children from birth to age five and use this information to assist in planning and teaching age-appropriate preschool lessons.

The program is every week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from mid-October through mid-May. The program is two hours long and offered as either a morning or afternoon session.
