The Butler County Swift-Water Rescue Team 300 deploys near Wahl Road in Forward Township this afternoon.

The National Weather Service has extended a flood warning for Butler County until 5:15 a.m. Saturday.

Friday's rain is expected to transition into freezing rain and snow overnight, but runoff from the 2-3 inches of rain that fell over the last day will continue. The NWS also warns that ice jams will “remain a threat on small streams as well as area rivers.”

A total of one-tenth of an inch of ice, and snow and sleet accumulations of 3-7 inches are possible by Saturday morning.
