Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic's girls basketball team opened up a 32-8 lead in the first quarter and cruised to a 74-31 section win at Highlands Monday night.

Sophomore guard Tess Myers paced the Trojanettes (10-0, 5-0) with 16 points.
