Madeline Clark scored 13 points to lead Freeport's girls basketball team to a key 39-34 section win over host Knoch Thursday night.

Emily Fraser paced Knoch (3-7, 2-1) with 11 points.

The Yellowjackets (4-5, 2-1) out-scored the Knights 11-7 in the fourth period.

C.W. North Catholic 77, Valley 20 — The Trojanettes (8-0, 4-0) received 14 points from Tess Myers and Kari Karanikos in this rout of the Vikings.

Grove City 51, Meadville 45 — Clara Hannon scored 18 points and Becca Santom added 15 as the Eagles edged the Bulldogs in overtime.

Santom drained two free throws with 2.2 seconds remaining to tie the game at 40-40 and force the extra frame.

Santom scored four more points from the line in overtime.

Seneca Valley 52, North Hills 38 — The Raiders (6-3, 2-0) won this section clash on the road, with McKenna Gross (21 points) and Gretchen Koken (15) leading the way.
